Aira Secures €150 Million to Boost Electrification

Swedish CleanTech company Aira has successfully raised €150 million in equity financing aimed at accelerating the electrification of residential heating systems across Europe. The funding will be pivotal in scaling Aira’s operations, expanding its portfolio of clean energy technologies, and enhancing research and development efforts in Sweden.

The investment, which primarily comes from existing investors including Altor and Kalltorp, will also support increased production capabilities in Poland. This initiative is expected to significantly strengthen Aira’s market presence while facilitating the establishment of new industry partnerships, further solidifying its role in the clean energy sector.

With this funding, Aira aims to address the growing demand for sustainable heating solutions, aligning with Europe’s broader climate goals. The company is committed to innovating residential heating technologies that are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly, contributing to the region’s transition towards cleaner energy sources.
